Head of Marketing

The Role

We are a fast growing, ventured backed startup. We're looking for a Head of Marketing to own the full marketing function from day one. You'll build the strategy, run the channels, and manage the agencies, with support from the founders but without a lot of hand-holding. This is a senior individual contributor role with a mandate to grow.

What You'll Own

• SEO and content strategy: drive organic traffic from developers, AI builders, and infrastructure buyers
• PR and communications: land coverage in tech and AI press, manage our narrative as we grow
• Paid acquisition: run performance marketing across Google, LinkedIn, and developer-focused channels
• Agency management: source, brief, and hold accountable 3rd-party agencies across paid, PR, and creative
• Brand: maintain a consistent voice across all channels as the company scales
• Pipeline: work directly with sales to generate qualified inbound from our target segments (AI product teams, voice AI companies, enterprise infra buyers)

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in B2B tech marketing, with at least some time at an early-stage startup
• Hands-on experience across SEO, paid, and PR - you've done the work, not just managed it
• Proven track record managing external agencies and holding them accountable to results
• Strong understanding of the AI/ML developer landscape -- you know the players, the publications, the communities
• ⁠Comfortable in technical conversations; you don't need to write code but you need to understand what we're selling

Nice to Have

• Experience marketing developer tools, APIs, or infrastructure products
• ⁠Existing relationships with AI/tech press
• ⁠Experience at a company that went from pre-seed to Series A

Compensation

Competitive salary + meaningful equity. We're early, this role carries real ownership.
