Data Architect (Pre-Sales)

We are seeking a client-facing Data Architect with strong pre-sales consulting experience and deep expertise in Databricks and modern cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate will partner with sales and delivery teams to shape data transformation opportunities, define solution architectures, and engage executive stakeholders throughout the sales lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops and solution discussions with clients.
• Design scalable Data, Analytics, and AI architectures using Databricks.
• Develop solution proposals, estimates, and responses to RFPs/RFIs.
• Present technical solutions and business value to client executives.
• Collaborate with sales, account teams, and delivery organizations to drive successful outcomes.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on data modernization, governance, and cloud transformation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, or Data Architecture.
• 3+ years in a customer-facing Pre-Sales, Solution Architect, or Consulting role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, Spark, SQL, and Python.
• Experience with Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP data platforms.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Databricks Certification.
• Experience working in a consulting or professional services organization.
• Exposure to AI/ML, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, or modern data platforms.
