NIPRO is seeking an experienced SAP Architecture Manager to lead the technical strategy, design, and implementation of our global SAP landscape, including ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, and SAP Business Technology Platform.

This role serves as the key technical bridge between SAP functional teams, infrastructure, security, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure a scalable, secure, integrated, and future-ready SAP environment across all NIPRO regions. Due to the global scope of this role, fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the SAP architecture roadmap aligned with business goals and cloud migration strategy
  • Lead technical design for SAP S/4HANA conversion and greenfield implementation projects
  • Define SAP architecture standards, governance policies, and best practices
  • Oversee SAP integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems using BTP, PI/PO, CPI, APIs, IDocs, BAPIs, OData, and RFC
  • Partner with functional teams and business leaders to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Lead SAP security design, including role-based access control, SoD, SSO, SAML, and audit compliance
  • Manage SAP system landscapes, transports, change management, and technical documentation
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to SAP Basis, ABAP, integration, and functional teams
  • Evaluate emerging SAP technologies and recommend adoption strategies
  • Support incident management, performance tuning, capacity planning, and root-cause analysis
  • Manage external SAP consultants and implementation partners

Leadership Scope

This role will lead and support SAP teams across key functional and technical areas, including:

  • SAP Sales & Distribution, SD
  • SAP Finance & Controlling, FICO
  • SAP Materials Management, MM, and Supply Chain
  • SAP Development, ABAP, UI5, Fiori, and Cloud Platform
  • External SAP consultants and implementation partners

The SAP Architecture Manager will also oversee team performance, project priorities, change requests, transport releases, consultant deliverables, and SAP governance standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field required
  • 10+ years of hands-on SAP experience
  • 5+ years in a lead architect, solution design, or SAP technical leadership role
  • Experience with large-scale SAP implementations, S/4HANA migrations, ECC, and cloud environments
  • Fluency in English and Spanish required
  • Experience leading global or distributed SAP technical teams preferred

Preferred Certifications

  • SAP Certified Technology Associate, SAP HANA or SAP NetWeaver
  • SAP Certified Application Associate, S/4HANA Finance, Logistics, or related area
  • SAP Certified Development Associate, ABAP
  • SAP Certified Integration Associate, SAP PI/PO, CPI, or BTP
  • ITIL Foundation or higher
  • TOGAF preferred

Skills and Experience

  • Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, SAP BTP, and related modules
  • Strong SAP Basis, HANA database, and NetWeaver experience
  • Expertise in SAP integration technologies, security, role design, SSO, SoD, and audit controls
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Strong understanding of SAP change management, transport management, ITIL, and architecture governance
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business and executive audiences
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and vendor management skills

Work Environment

This is afully onsite role requiring regular in-person presence at a company facility. Domestic and international travel may be required. The role may also require after-hours support during critical incidents, maintenance windows, or major SAP projects.
