Junior Digital Project Manager

Level Five Solutions is a growing user experience and digital design company based in Overland Park, Kansas. We’re looking for a Junior Digital Marketing Manager to join our team.

The Position

As a junior digital marketing manager, you’ll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within budget, timeline, and scope. You’ll also monitor and present project updates to clients and project team members. As the main point of contact for both the client and the project team, the project manager plays a critical role in the success of any major engagement. To succeed, you need to be a problem-solver who thrives on being engaged at all levels of the project. You’ll need to keep track of the details while never losing sight of the big picture. Analytical skills and quick-thinking are a must.

In the role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing and prioritizing requests from multiple clients. Our program manager will provide oversight and training to help adapt you to Level Five's processes to make it as smooth as possible for you as the newcomer to our team.

Day-to day responsibilities include

• Planning, coordinating and implementing digital design and user research projects.
• Clearly communicating deliverables, dates, and expectations to client and project teams.
• Ability to think logically, research why an issue occurred, and develop ideas and plans to resolve issues
• Ensuring projects operate within budget, timeline and scope.
• Presenting project updates to client, internal team members and program management.
• Working with Project Management team lead to ensure that we adhere to project management processes.
• Working closely with creative, strategy, and technology teams to deliver top-quality results.
• Monitoring project risks and scope creep to handle potential issues before they arise.
• Being on the lookout for further business opportunities to help our clients meet their goals.

Requirements

• Experience in managing multiple smaller scale digital projects simultaneously
• 1-2 years in marketing, management and/or account management role
• Familiarity with project planning
• Ability to think logically, research why an issue occurred, and develop ideas and plans to resolve issues
• Comfortable speaking, writing, and presenting to audiences both within and outside the organization
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Star Applicants/Higher Skills

• Certifications, such as PMP, CAMP and/or PMI-ACP, are welcome but not required
• Experience tracking software defects
