  • Drive best practices around identity management, access controls, monitoring, and platform security.

Project Delivery & Automation

  • Oversee cloud engineering initiatives from planning through implementation.
  • Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
  • Promote DevOps and CI/CD best practices to improve efficiency, consistency, and deployment quality.
  • Support project teams by providing technical direction and architectural oversight.

Incident Management & Operations

  • Provide technical leadership during major incidents and production support events.
  • Establish standards for performance, reliability, monitoring, and operational excellence.
  • Analyze operational trends and identify opportunities to increase platform stability, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts through automation and proactive platform management.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of cloud engineers.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance discussions, and career development conversations.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous learning, and innovation.
  • Recognize team achievements and support professional growth.
  • Influence cloud strategy, priorities, and investment decisions across technology teams.

Current Environment

  • Mature Azure environment operating for 4+ years.
  • Large-scale Azure infrastructure with 800+ resources across 75+ resource types.
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) production environments.
  • Robust Azure Databricks platform.
  • Hybrid infrastructure with ongoing migration from legacy data centers.
  • High-volume financial transaction ecosystem supporting banking and fintech services.
