Product Manager

We're looking for our first PM. You'll own the core product — daily reports, weekly reports, customer portal, and site onboarding — and drive it forward with the engineering team. This is an execution role, not a coordination role. The product is live and customers depend on it daily.

WHO YOU ARE

• You've owned a B2B SaaS product end-to-end — roadmap, specs, shipped features — at a startup under 100 people
• You write specs engineers can build from without weekly clarification meetings
• You've shipped products with AI as a core feature and know how to handle imperfect model output at the product layer
• You use data — usage metrics, support signals, feature adoption — to make decisions, not confirm hunches
• You've done real customer research: interviews, site visits, or direct exposure to users in their environment
• You can read a database schema and evaluate technical tradeoffs without being a black box to engineering

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• First PM experience at a company under 10 people preferred
• You make hard calls about what to cut and can defend them — the roadmap is not a wish list
• You've earned engineer trust through clear thinking and follow-through, not process
• Comfortable with the unglamorous work: support tickets, edge case QA, customer calls at inconvenient hours
• Reports to the CEO
• Charlotte, NC preferred — remote considered for the right person
