About the job

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Packaging Artwork & Brand Execution Manager to serve as the final approval authority for all packaging artwork before files are released for printing, decoration, component manufacturing, or production at our Snowberry.kr division. This position is the final technical gatekeeper responsible for ensuring that every production artwork file is accurate, complete, compliant, manufacturable, correctly versioned, and aligned with the approved product specification.

The successful candidate must be able to identify small artwork, copy, colour, dieline, barcode, material, and production errors before they become expensive manufacturing problems.

Core Responsibilities

  • Convert approved design direction into accurate production-ready packaging files.
  • Review all packaging artwork before printing, decoration, component manufacturing, or mass production.
  • Confirm that artwork uses the correct supplier-approved dieline.
  • Verify dimensions, bleed, trim, safe areas, folds, glue areas, cut lines, print zones, and decoration limits.
  • Review file setup, layers, linked images, fonts, resolution, trapping, overprint, transparency, and colour separation.
  • Confirm correct Pantone, CMYK, spot-colour, coating, foil, varnish, embossing, debossing, frosting, metallization, silk-screen, and other finish instructions.
  • Verify that packaging material, print method, decoration process, and finish specifications are clearly identified.
  • Confirm that barcodes are correct, properly placed, and suitable for production.
  • Ensure ingredient lists, claims, directions, warnings, net contents, country-of-origin statements, responsible-party information, and other required copy match approved source documents.
  • Confirm that Regulatory has approved all regulated text and claims before final artwork release.
  • Confirm that the artwork revision matches the approved formula, packaging specification, SKU, customer, and market.
  • Review supplier proofs for layout, copy, colour callouts, decoration placement, and technical conformity.
  • Maintain controlled artwork revision numbers, approval records, release dates, and file histories.
  • Remove or clearly identify obsolete artwork so outdated files cannot be used accidentally.
  • Maintain a secure master archive of approved production files and supporting approvals.
  • Coordinate artwork corrections with graphic designers, Regulatory, NPI, Purchasing, and suppliers.
  • Escalate incomplete, conflicting, or technically unsuitable information before release.

Ideal Candidate

  • A highly experienced production-artwork specialist
  • Extremely detail-oriented and visually precise
  • Comfortable acting as the final gatekeeper
  • Able to identify small inconsistencies others overlook
  • Disciplined about documentation and version control
  • Confident challenging designers, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Strong in both creative execution and technical production requirements
  • Calm under deadline pressure and unwilling to approve incomplete work
  • Focused on preventing errors rather than correcting them after production

Success Measures

  • Zero unauthorized artwork releases
  • Zero obsolete-file production incidents
  • Reduction in print, copy, barcode, and specification errors
  • High first-pass supplier-proof approval rate
  • Faster final-artwork approval cycle time
  • Complete artwork approval records for every production release
  • Fewer production delays caused by incomplete artwork
  • Fewer reprints, corrections, and packaging write-offs
  • Consistent alignment between approved artwork and manufactured packaging
