We’re developing an AI powered financial analytics and decision support platform that helps individuals, businesses, lenders, and financial institutions transform bank statements into explainable financial intelligence.

Our platform is built around three core product surfaces:

• Personal & Business Financial Analysis
• Lending Assessment
• Post Disbursement Monitoring

Every financial insight must be explainable, reproducible, and traceable back to the original transaction. Our product is designed around one principle: “A wrong answer presented confidently is worse than no answer at all.”

About the Role

Scanwick LTD is looking for a Founding Frontend Engineer to join our engineering team as we complete the final phase of building our AI-powered financial analytics platform.

Requirements

• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and modern frontend development.
• Experience integrating REST APIs with backend services.
• Ability to build responsive, scalable, and reusable user interfaces.
• Experience with dashboards, data visualization, and complex web applications is an advantage.
• Comfortable collaborating with backend engineers working with Python (FastAPI) and PostgreSQL services.

• Can contribute immediately to an existing codebase.

• Wants to help build a product from launch to scale.

• Financial dashboards
• Multi-account financial consolidation views
• Transaction explorer
• Spending category visualizations
• Statement audit results
• Source Confidence Tier indicators
• Coverage reports
• Lender assessment reports
• Borrower dashboards
• Consent management
• Shareable assessment views
• Post-disbursement monitoring dashboards
• PDF report viewing and downloads

The frontend should clearly communicate when information is unavailable rather than presenting assumptions, and help users understand the provenance of every financial insight.

Compensation

To be completely transparent:

Scanwick is an early-stage startup and is currently pre-revenue. At this stage, we are not offering a fixed salary.

Compensation includes:

• Equity in the company
• Employee Stock Options (ESOP)
• Monthly data/internet subscription support

As the company grows, secures funding, and begins generating sustainable revenue, our goal is to transition founding team members into salaried positions while preserving their equity ownership. We're looking for people who believe in building something meaningful and are willing to grow alongside the company.
