Full-Stack Web3 Engineer

About the role

Lua Ventures is hiring a Full-Stack Web3 Engineer to build the interfaces and infrastructure that connect users to on-chain products — across our internal tooling and the portfolio companies we support. You'll own features end to end: from smart-contract integration and backend services to polished, wallet-connected frontends.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role on a lean, remote-first team. You'll ship fast, work directly with founders, and help set the engineering standard for the products we back.

What you'll do

• Build responsive, wallet-connected dApp frontends in React/Next.js with TypeScript
• Integrate smart contracts using ethers.js / viem / wagmi and handle transactions, signing, and on-chain state
• Design and maintain backend services, APIs, and indexers (Node.js, GraphQL, The Graph)
• Work with on-chain and off-chain data pipelines to power dashboards and analytics
• Collaborate with smart-contract engineers, designers, and portfolio teams to ship features quickly
• Care about UX: making Web3 flows feel as smooth as Web2

What we're looking for

• 3+ years building production web applications, with hands-on Web3 integration experience
• Strong TypeScript, React/Next.js, and Node.js skills
• Comfortable working with wallets, RPC providers, and reading/writing to smart contracts
• Solid understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs and relational databases
• Ability to work independently in an async, distributed team

Nice to have

• Basic Solidity — enough to read contracts and debug integrations
• Experience with subgraphs, indexing, or on-chain data tooling
• Familiarity with multiple chains (L2s, Solana, etc.)
• Design sensibility / experience shipping consumer-grade crypto UX
• Open-source or public GitHub track record
