We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial CFO who can bring strategic financial leadership, investment, and business growth expertise to our next stage of expansion.

Role Overview

We are seeking a CFO who is willing to participate as a strategic business partner by bringing financial expertise, investment capability, and a growth-oriented mindset.

This is not a conventional salaried CFO position. We are open to an investment-linked equity structure and a performance-based revenue-sharing arrangement.

The selected candidate should be capable of strengthening our financial strategy, building investor relationships, improving revenue performance, managing cash flow, and supporting fundraising activities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Management

Develop and execute Shortfundly's financial strategy and long-term financial roadmap.

Manage budgeting, financial planning, cash flow, and working capital.

Build financial models, forecasts, and business valuation reports.

Establish financial controls, reporting systems, and profitability metrics.

Monitor revenue, expenses, margins, and unit economics.

Investment & Fundraising

Make a strategic financial investment in Shortfundly, subject to mutually agreed terms.

Support fundraising initiatives and connect with angel investors, VCs, family offices, and strategic investors.

Prepare investor presentations, financial projections, and due diligence documents.

Develop investment strategies and support valuation discussions.

Help Shortfundly achieve its long-term fundraising and growth objectives.

Revenue & Business Growth

Identify new revenue opportunities across OTT SaaS, OTT distribution, and other Shortfundly products.

Build strategic partnerships and commercial relationships.

Develop revenue growth strategies and improve business profitability.

Support B2B sales strategy, enterprise partnerships, and commercial negotiations.

Corporate Finance & Compliance

Coordinate with auditors, accountants, tax consultants, and legal advisors.

Oversee financial compliance, statutory reporting, and governance.

Establish transparent financial reporting and investor communication processes.

Investment & Compensation Structure

We are open to structuring the engagement based on the candidate's investment capacity, financial expertise, and contribution.

1. Investment-Linked Equity

The candidate is expected to bring a strategic investment into Shortfundly.

Equity participation will be determined based on the investment amount, mutually agreed company valuation, and applicable legal approvals.

Equity percentage, shareholding terms, and investment milestones will be documented through formal agreements.

1. Revenue-Sharing Model

We are open to a revenue-sharing arrangement instead of a conventional fixed monthly salary.

Revenue share can be linked to eligible revenue generated, collected, or directly contributed through agreed business initiatives.

Revenue attribution, calculation methodology, payment frequency, and duration will be mutually agreed upon in writing.

Ideal Candidate Profile

8–15+ years of experience in finance, corporate finance, investment banking, venture capital, financial strategy, or startup finance.

Proven experience in fundraising, investment management, financial modelling, and business valuation.

Strong understanding of startup economics, SaaS business models, recurring revenue, and technology businesses.

Experience working with founders, investors, and startup leadership teams.

Ability to identify investment opportunities and build investor networks.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to participate in a growth-stage startup.

Investment capacity and willingness to invest personal or professionally managed capital, subject to applicable requirements.

Strong leadership, negotiation, and financial decision-making skills.
