About DafoTalk

DafoTalk is building a voice-first platform that helps people have meaningful conversations through real-time voice matching.

We're building our MVP from the ground up with a focus on scalability, reliability, and exceptional user experience. As one of our first engineering hires, you'll work directly with the founder and have significant ownership over the product and technical direction.

What You'll Do
Build and maintain our Flutter mobile application.
Develop scalable backend services using Python (Django/Django REST Framework).
Design and implement REST APIs and real-time communication using WebSockets.
Work with PostgreSQL, Redis, and background task processing.
Integrate push notifications and authentication.
Collaborate on product decisions and architecture.
Write clean, maintainable, production-quality code.
Help shape engineering practices as one of the founding team members.

What We're Looking For
4+ years of professional Flutter development experience.
Strong understanding of software architecture and clean code principles.
Experience building production-grade mobile applications.
Experience with Python and Django (or willingness to work across the full stack).
Good understanding of databases and API design.
Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.
Strong ownership and problem-solving mindset.
