Frontend UI Engineering Internship

About the Role
We're looking for a graduate-level Front-End or Full-Stack Engineering Intern to help transform product designs into production-ready software inside an existing application.

You'll work with modern AI-assisted development tools—including Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, MCP integrations, and terminal-based workflows—to implement real product features, improve documentation, debug applications, and refine user experiences.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll contribute directly to a live product rather than building isolated demo projects.

What You'll Do
You'll help move features from design to production by:

• Turning Figma designs into working application features
• Implementing front-end functionality in an existing codebase
• Supporting full-stack feature development when needed
• Creating missing implementation documentation
• Writing user stories and acceptance criteria
• Identifying edge cases and missing product requirements
• Defining loading, empty, validation, and error states
• Connecting front-end components with backend APIs
• Debugging issues and improving existing implementations
• Reviewing AI-generated code and refining it before release
• Verifying product behavior using Chrome DevTools and QA workflows

Development Environment
You'll work primarily in a modern AI-assisted engineering workflow using:

• Claude Code
• OpenAI Codex
• MCP Server integrations
• Terminal-based development
• Git
• Google Chrome Developer Tools
• Existing production repositories This internship assumes prior experience using these tools.

Required Qualifications
Education
Master's degree (completed or currently enrolled) in one of the following:
Computer Science, Software Engineering, Front-End Development, Full-Stack Development, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, Analytics, or a closely related field.

Required Skills
Candidates should already have experience with:

• JavaScript / TypeScript
• React, Next.js, or similar frameworks
• Front-end architecture
• API integration
• Existing production codebases
• Git-based development
• Terminal workflows
• Figma
• Claude Code
• OpenAI Codex
• MCP server integrations

You should also be comfortable:

• Translating designs into working software
• Writing implementation documentation
• Defining user stories and acceptance criteria
• Identifying edge cases
• Thinking from a QA and product perspective
• Reviewing AI-generated code critically instead of accepting it automatically

Preferred Experience
Bonus qualifications include experience with:
