Senior Full-Stack Product Engineer — React Native, Node.js, Next.js

We’re building a fast-growing consumer AI product that helps people create funny, highly shareable content for their friends.

We’re looking for a strong mid-level engineer who wants more than a queue of tickets. You’ll work directly with the founder, own meaningful parts of the product, and help decide what we build—not just how we build it.

This is a high-autonomy role on a small team. You’ll move quickly, talk to users, ship across mobile, web, and backend systems, and see the direct impact of your work.

What you’ll do

• Own features from initial idea through launch and iteration
• Build polished consumer experiences in React Native and Next.js
• Develop APIs, background jobs, and product logic with Node.js
• Integrate AI models for image, video, audio, and conversational experiences
• Improve product quality, performance, reliability, and development speed
• Work directly with the founder on product decisions and technical tradeoffs
• Use customer feedback and product data to improve what you ship
• Help shape our engineering standards as the team grows

You do not need experience with every technology on this list. You should be comfortable learning quickly and taking ownership across the stack.

You may be a great fit if you

• Have strong experience building and shipping real products with JavaScript or TypeScript
• Have worked with React Native, React, Node.js, or similar technologies
• Can take an ambiguous product problem and turn it into a thoughtful, reliable solution
• Care about the quality and usability of what customers experience
• Move quickly without creating unnecessary complexity
• Communicate clearly and proactively
• Can debug problems across mobile, frontend, backend, and third-party services
• Want meaningful responsibility rather than a narrowly defined engineering role

We care less about credentials and more about judgment, ownership, and the quality of your work.

The best engineers here are people who can balance speed with craftsmanship. They know when to keep a solution simple, when to dig deeper, and when to challenge an assumption. They do not wait for every requirement to be perfectly defined before making progress.

Experience with consumer products, mobile apps, generative AI, media processing, or early-stage startups is valuable, but not required.
