Behind the collections is a small team that treats every client relationship, every press placement, and every influencer partnership with the same care we bring to the garments themselves.

The Role

We're looking for a driven, curious Public Relations Intern to join us for the semester and get real hands-on exposure to luxury fashion PR — influencer relations, editorial outreach, and the day-to-day of building a brand's public presence.
You'll work closely with our team on brand awareness initiatives, influencer partnerships, and press research. This isn't a coffee-and-copy internship: you'll own real research, draft real outreach, and see your work show up in real campaigns and collection launches.

What You'll Work On

1. Influencer and tastemaker research. You'll identify the content creators, stylists, celebrities, and tastemakers whose audiences genuinely align with B Anu Designs, and build the databases we use to reach them. You'll help us think carefully about who — not just who's popular, but who's right for the brand.
2. Media and press research. You'll dig into luxury fashion, bridal, lifestyle, and South Asian publications to map the editors, journalists, and outlets that matter to us, and build the press lists that turn opportunity into placement.
3. Outreach and communication. You'll draft personalized outreach emails to influencers, editors, and stylists, and help maintain warm, professional communication with our external partners. You'll learn how the tone of a single email can open — or close — a door.
4. Gifting, tracking, and campaign support. You'll help coordinate influencer gifting, track partnerships and press placements, and keep our records accurate as campaigns move. You'll assist with press kits, media assets, and the behind-the-scenes materials that make a PR push land.
5. Trend and opportunity monitoring. You'll keep an eye on luxury fashion, bridal, and influencer trends and flag partnership opportunities as you spot them — a real voice in the conversation, not just an inbox monitor.

Who We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Journalism, or a related field
• Eligible to receive academic credit through your university or college
• Available for approximately 20 hours per week throughout the semester
• A genuine interest in luxury fashion, South Asian bridal, influencer marketing, and media relations
• Excellent written communication — especially the kind of polished, personal email that gets replies
• Strong research instincts and the ability to find the right contact, not just any contact
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple threads at once
• Comfortable with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and the fashion media landscape is a plus
• Previous internship or campus organization experience is welcome but not required
