About the job
About Marit
Marit is an AI-native clinician community and platform that helps physicians and advanced practice clinicians find and do their best work. Founded by the same team that built Glassdoor, Marit Health is one of the fastest-growing community and job search platforms in medicine. We bring together salary transparency, job search, and community into a modern platform built specifically for clinicians. In just 15 months we've grown to more than 100,000 clinicians, and our recruiting product, launched only nine months ago, has become the most popular in the category.
The product is working. Health systems are signing on, commercial demand has been strong, and we are now building the operational backbone that lets us onboard, traffic, and support those clients at scale.
About the Role
This is a hands-on Ad Operations role and a great way to learn how a modern job marketplace runs under the hood. You'll own the day-to-day work that keeps client jobs live and performing: setups and implementations, job trafficking, employer data moderation and mapping, and ops support. You'll partner closely with Customer Success and Product learn the platform deeply enough to spot what's slow, what breaks, and what could be automated.
The job is mostly tactical ops. You clear the queue accurately and on time, you document how the work actually gets done, and you use AI tools to move faster. As you get sharper, there's real room to grow into building playbooks, proposing tooling, and leading client conversations. This is a ground-floor seat on the team that will define how GTM Ad Ops works at Marit as we scale.
What you'll do
- Set up and implement new clients under the guidance of the GTM team
- Run job trafficking end to end: intake, QA, go-live, and ongoing maintenance so sponsored jobs perform
- Handle employer moderation and mapping so listings are clean and correctly categorized
- Provide ops support for client issues with speed and clear communication
- Document your work and flag recurring problems, so the process gets a little better every week
- Use AI tools in your daily workflow to cut time, reduce errors and get more done
What we're looking for
- 1 to 2 years of experience in online jobs, recruitment advertising, or job board / marketplace ops. You understand how jobs get trafficked, moderated, and kept live, or you can pick it up fast.
- Comfortable working with data. You can read a spreadsheet, spot something that looks off, and ask good questions. Exposure to SQL is a plus, not a requirement, and we'll help you build it.
- You already use AI tools to work faster and are excited to lean in further.
- Strong ops habits: prioritization, attention to detail, QA discipline, and calm under volume.
- Self-starter who follows through. You clear today's queue and leave tomorrow's process a little better.
- (Preferred) Healthcare staffing or talent acquisition ops experience.
Why this role is interesting
- You'll work on a product that's changing the medical recruitment landscape
- You'll get a ground-floor seat as the GTM Ad Ops function is built, with a clear path to grow into tooling, playbooks, and client work
- You'll work closely with Customer Success, product, and founders, not just a support queue
- You'll learn how a fast-growing marketplace actually operates, which is rare this early in a career
- You'll help clinicians find and do their best work
