  • Work closely with development teams to provide onboarding support
  • Ensure platform and networks are compliant with DoD policies
  • Support backup and disaster recovery planning

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ Years of Linux Server Administration: Direct experience deploying, maintaining, and administering enterprise Linux servers, specifically identifying distributions such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Ubuntu
  • 3+ Years of Linux Endpoint & Virtual Machine Administration: Practical experience managing Linux clients (endpoints) and virtualized environments, ensuring system stability and performance
  • 3+ Years of Core Virtualization Infrastructure Management (VMware): Demonstrated experience administering VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi to support and maintain the underlying hypervisor stack that hosts the Linux virtual infrastructure (aligned with the systems experience required for the role).
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the following:
    • Cloud Native Architectures
    • Hybrid Commercial and on premise Cloud Environments
    • Maintaining servers and services on unclassified and classified networks
    • Provisioning, deploying and maintaining tools from the Cloud Native Computer Foundation ecosystem
    • Government Clouds (Preferred)
  • Certifications: Certified Kubernetes Administrator
  • HS Diploma
  • US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Scripting experience including at least a subset of the following: Bash, Python, Terraform, Ansible
  • Knowledge of Active Directory in addition to other identity federation systems such as LDAP
  • Knowledge of observability tools, such as Splunk or Elasticsearch
  • Experience using Git hosting services such as GitLab, GitHub and BitBucket
