Senior Network Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Network Architect to design, implement, secure, and support enterprise Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) network environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in IT/OT convergence, network architecture, cybersecurity, and transportation technologies such as ITS and ATMS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain secure IT and OT network infrastructure.
• Develop enterprise network architecture for routing, switching, wireless, and secure communications.
• Support IT/OT convergence initiatives and resolve integration challenges.
• Implement network security best practices, including Zero Trust architecture and layered security controls.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex network issues.
• Perform incident response, root cause analysis, and operational support for enterprise networks.
• Support transportation technology environments, including Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS).
• Collaborate with business, technical, and security teams to design secure and scalable network solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in IT and OT networking, including:

Routing and Switching

Wireless Networking

Network Design & Architecture

Network Security

Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting

• 6+ years of experience designing, securing, and managing IT/OT network environments, including IT/OT convergence.
• 5+ years of experience with Operational Technology (OT), including:

OT Network Protocols

Cybersecurity Threats & Vulnerabilities

Real-Time Data Processing

IT/OT Integration

• 5+ years of experience supporting transportation network technologies, including:

Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)

Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS)

Adaptive Traffic Signal Control

Safety & Reliability Standards

• 5+ years of experience providing IT/OT operational support, including incident response and root cause analysis.
• 4+ years of experience implementing cybersecurity solutions for IT/OT environments, including:

Zero Trust Architecture

Layered Security

Security Compliance

Network Security Standards

4+ years of experience collaborating with cross-functional business, technical, and security teams, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required Certification

Candidates must hold at least one of the following certifications:

Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE

CompTIA Network+ or Security+

CISSP
