AI Automation Developer

As an AI Automation & Workflow Developer at yMedia — an 8-year-old AI content marketing studio — you’ll help design and build intelligent automation systems that improve internal efficiency and streamline content operations. You’ll work closely with our content and marketing teams to automate repetitive workflows, integrate AI tools into business processes, and develop scalable systems that power our SEO/AEO-driven content ecosystem. Your work will directly contribute to improving how we create, review, and publish content across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

Workflow Automation Development

• Design and build AI-powered internal automation tools

• Identify repetitive operational tasks and convert them into automated workflows

• Develop end-to-end systems that improve internal productivity and reduce manual effort

AI Integration & Tooling

• Integrate AI models and coding tools into business workflows

• Experiment with modern AI development tools to enhance automation capabilities

• Build systems using AI-assisted development ("vibe coding") approaches

Software Development & Maintenance

• Develop, test, and maintain workflow automation systems

• Build production-ready applications and internal tools

• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of automation systems

Collaboration & Requirement Gathering

• Work with different teams to understand operational requirements

• Translate business needs into technical solutions and system designs

• Collaborate with content and marketing teams to improve workflow efficiency

Documentation & Version Control

• Maintain clean and structured documentation for all tools and systems

• Use GitHub for version control and collaborative development

• Ensure proper code organization and maintainability

Required Skills:

• Strong interest in software development and workflow automation

• Proficiency in AI-assisted ("vibe") coding

• Hands-on experience with:
◦ Visual Studio Code (VS Code).
◦ GitHub.

• Experience using modern AI development tools such as:
◦ Claude.
◦ Codex.
◦ Other AI coding assistants.

• Understanding of APIs, automation workflows, and software integrations

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Basic understanding of SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), or content publishing workflows is a plus.

• Familiarity with WordPress APIs and automation platforms is an added advantage.

Portfolio Requirement

Applicants must include a portfolio or GitHub repository showcasing at least one fully functional software project. Projects demonstrating workflow automation, AI integrations, developer tools, or end-to-end applications will be given preference.
