Endpoint Deployment Engineer (Windows Imaging & Deployment) (Clone)

Position: Endpoint Deployment Engineer (Windows Imaging & Deployment)
Location: Dayton, OH (Onsite)
Duration: Long Term Contract

Primary Responsibilities
• Execute laptop re-imaging using the standard client Windows image for end users onsite.
• Perform bare-metal builds and Windows image deployment via PXE boot.
• Configure and validate deployed devices.
• Join devices to Active Directory / Jump Domain.
• Configure the local provisioning endpoint before imaging.
• Validate applications, Netskope Private Access, mapped drives, and local printers after re-imaging.
• Assist end users with login, file transfer, and post-imaging activities.
• Track device status and update inventory after each deployment.
• Travel across multiple client locations within the US as part of the deployment program.

Mandatory Skills
• Hands-on experience with Bare Metal Builds
• PXE Boot image deployment
• Windows Imaging, Deployment & Troubleshooting
• Active Directory / Domain Join
• Local Network Setup
• Application & Printer Validation
• Windows 10/11 support and troubleshooting

Preferred Skills
• Desktop/Endpoint deployment experience
• Hardware troubleshooting
• Basic networking knowledge
• Experience with imaging tools (MDT, SCCM, PXE, or similar)

Soft Skills
• Excellent end-user communication
• Comfortable providing one-to-one onsite support
• Self-organized and able to manage travel schedules
• Flexible to travel extensively across the US
• Able to troubleshoot efficiently under time-sensitive deployment schedules
