Graphic Designer

We are looking for a creative, AI-first Graphic Designer who is passionate about designing engaging visual experiences across digital platforms. The ideal candidate should possess strong skills in social media creatives, marketing campaigns, branding, visual storytelling, and video editing. They should be comfortable leveraging the latest AI-powered creative tools to accelerate ideation, design, production, and delivery while maintaining high creative standards.

Please note: This position requires working from our Chennai office. Candidates currently residing in Chennai will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design high-quality creatives for social media, marketing campaigns, digital advertisements, landing pages, websites, email campaigns, and other brand communication materials.
2. Create engaging visual assets and edit short-form videos, promotional videos, reels, and other digital content.
3. Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams to translate creative briefs into compelling visual solutions.
4. Ensure brand consistency across all designs while optimising assets for different digital platforms and formats.
5. Deliver high-quality work within deadlines, maintaining strong attention to detail and organised project files.
6. Stay updated with the latest design trends and actively experiment with AI-powered design and video creation tools to improve creativity, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 1 year of experience in a Tech, Media, Publishing, Digital Marketing, or Creative Agency environment is mandatory.
2. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Multimedia, or a related field.
3. Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in digital design, marketing creatives, campaign design, branding, and social media content.
4. Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, layout, colour theory, composition, and branding.
5. Ability to manage multiple creative projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
7. High attention to detail with a passion for producing polished creative work.

*Required Technical Skills

Candidates should be proficient in:

• Adobe Illustrator
• Canva
• DaVinci Resolve (Video Editing)

Experience with motion graphics, basic animation, or additional creative tools will be an added advantage.

AI-First Design Skills (Mandatory)

• The ideal candidate is expected to be comfortable using modern AI tools throughout the creative workflow.
• This includes:
• Using AI tools for creative ideation, concept generation, mood boards, and visual exploration.
• Leveraging AI-assisted tools for graphic design, image generation, background removal, enhancement, and asset creation.
• Using AI-powered video editing and content creation tools to accelerate production workflows.
• Applying AI to improve efficiency while ensuring professional-quality creative output.
• Demonstrating curiosity and an experimental mindset towards evaluating and adopting new AI tools and workflows.
• Keeping up to date with emerging AI technologies relevant to graphic design, visual communication, and video production.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in digital marketing creative production.
• Understanding of social media platform requirements and creative best practices.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
• Experience working with brand guidelines and campaign-based creative execution.
