BoomerangFX is the fastest-growing AI-powered practice management platform in private-pay healthcare, operating across 6+ countries. We are building the next generation of clinical AI, starting with Auvia, our autonomous patient engagement co-pilot.

We're looking for an AI Tech Lead who wants to do more than ship models. This is a chance to lead and mentor a high-performing AI engineering team, shape our AI architecture from the ground up, and see your work go live in production across a global healthcare platform, all while working directly with leadership on where AI takes the business next.

What You'll Do

AI Solution Development

Design, build, and deploy scalable AI and Machine Learning solutions
Develop production-grade applications using LLMs, NLP, Generative AI, and intelligent automation
Architect enterprise AI solutions that solve real business challenges
Build scalable, maintainable AI workflows and services

Generative AI & LLM Applications

Build and optimize solutions using OpenAI, Anthropic, and Azure OpenAI
Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks
Develop conversational AI, chatbot, and AI-agent solutions

Azure AI & Cloud Architecture

Deploy AI applications within Microsoft Azure environments
Work with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and related technologies

Consulting & Stakeholder Engagement

Partner with cross-functional teams to identify AI opportunities and define solution strategies
Translate business requirements into technical AI solutions
Present recommendations, prototypes, and solution designs to stakeholders

Optimization & Continuous Improvement

Monitor, evaluate, and improve AI model performance
Establish testing, validation, and evaluation frameworks
Support AI governance, quality assurance, and reliability initiatives

What You Bring

8+ years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Software Development, or AI Consulting
5+ years of hands-on Python development experience
2+ years building production-grade Generative AI, NLP, chatbot, or LLM-based applications
3+ years working with Microsoft Azure, including Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Services
2-3+ years of Canadian work experience
Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, LlamaIndex, RAG, prompt engineering, vector databases, AI agents, and workflow automation
Track record of taking AI solutions from proof-of-concept to production
Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

Nice to Have

Experience in Healthcare SaaS or Healthcare Technology
Experience building enterprise-scale AI products and intelligent automation solutions

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $80,000-$90,000 + 10% Bonus
