Issue Analysts may have deep specific field(s) expertise, experience or interest; or have broad policy background and a deep skill set in research, analysis and communication that can be applied to a variety of policy areas, or some other relevant background. Similarly, volunteers may work intensively on one or two policy areas for short periods of focused time, coming in and out as their work is needed; or they may provide an ongoing commitment of 4+ hours per week to be deployed across various policy work areas over time.
