AI Solutions Architect

About the opportunity

Working EU is supporting the launch of a new Portuguese health and longevity product built around artificial intelligence, automation and continuous personalised support.

We are looking for an experienced AI Solutions Architect to design, build and maintain the technological ecosystem behind the product.

This is not a research-only or proof-of-concept role. We need someone who has already delivered real AI systems into production and can take technical ownership from architecture to implementation.

What you will build

Design the end-to-end architecture connecting the CRM, WhatsApp, AI voice systems and a proprietary customer application.
Build automated workflows for lead generation, qualification, sales, onboarding and ongoing service delivery.
Develop prompts, conversation pathways and decision logic for AI voice agents.
Integrate external APIs, AI platforms, databases and technology providers.
Create customer check-in and continuous monitoring systems.
Implement human-in-the-loop validation for sensitive or complex interactions.
Monitor system performance, reliability, security and operating costs.
Improve and scale the infrastructure as customer volume increases.
Document technical decisions, integrations and operational processes.

What we are looking for

Proven professional experience building and maintaining LLM-based systems in production.
Strong experience with APIs, backend integrations and workflow automation.
Experience with AI agents, RAG systems or multi-agent architectures.
Ability to make autonomous architecture and technology decisions.
Strong Python skills and experience with modern cloud infrastructure.
Product-oriented mindset focused on practical, stable and maintainable solutions.
Ability to work closely with business, sales, product and healthcare professionals.
Availability to work onsite or in a hybrid model in the Famalicão/Porto area.

Nice to have

Experience with Retell AI, Vapi, Bland AI or similar voice AI platforms.
Experience with WhatsApp integrations, CRM systems or Pipedrive.
Experience in health technology, wellness, longevity or regulated environments.
Experience building products in an early-stage startup environment.
Fluent Portuguese.

Start date: As soon as possible
Compensation: Up to €70,000 gross per year, plus performance-based bonuses
