Position Overview: We are seeking Project Manager will work across IT, Public Works/Engineering, Fire Rescue, Facilities, and other internal and external stakeholder groups. This is a 12 - 24 month Hybrid Contract based in Victoria, BC

The Project Manager will lead the following initiatives:

• SCADA system upgrades
• Waste Management Systems projects
• Field Devices Expansion projects
• Meeting and Conference Room Technology initiatives
• Operations Centre buildout

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5 + years of IT project experience
• 2 + years as a designated Project Manager

• Experience preparing:

• Project charters

• Master project plans

• Risk analyses

• Risk management plans

• Strong scope management experience

• Change control management expertise

• Experience managing:

• Timelines

• Budgets

• Quality

• Communications

• Experience coordinating municipal/business and technical resources

• Public sector experience is highly desirable

• Experience preparing governance materials, dashboards, risk registers, issue logs, and executive reporting

• Knowledge of IT Security, Privacy, and Records Management requirements

• Strong stakeholder engagement and change management experience.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas, in order of importance:

• Microsoft M365 (OneDrive, Outlook Cloud, SharePoint, Power BI, Visio, Teams)
• Asset Management Program Systems
• SCADA and Operational Technology (OT) Systems
• Distributed Cloud Initiatives (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Public sector project management experience
• OT/SCADA project exposure
• Strong governance and stakeholder management skills
• Infrastructure and operational technology delivery experience
• Experience with Microsoft-centered environments and cloud initiatives
