Product Designer—Personal Fitness Assistant (iOS App).

GAIN Fitness is looking for an ambitious, product-minded designer who's excited about AI, startups, fitness, and crafting beautiful consumer experiences.

GAIN Fitness is a pioneer in workout apps and has recently relaunched as an AI-first personal fitness assistant. Our platform serves many fitness personas and user needs through one app—weight loss, active aging, strength training, endurance athletes, HYROX competitors, recovery, yoga, posture correction, and more.

Our vision: 1 fitness app to deliver 1,000 personalized experiences to 1,000 different users.

You'll work directly with our founder and a small team of experienced product, design, and engineering leaders to shape the future of personalized fitness.

What You'll Do

• Design end-to-end product experiences for our iOS app—from concept to polished interactive prototypes
• Create high-fidelity product flows and component systems in Figma
• Work closely with engineering to deliver pixel-perfect UI, interactions, and animations
• Simplify complex AI and fitness logic into intuitive user experiences
• Contribute to product strategy, roadmap, and user research
• Support growth initiatives through landing pages, visuals, and marketing assets

Skills

• 3–7+ years designing consumer software products
• Strong mobile product design experience (iOS preferred)
• Exceptional Figma skills, including prototyping
• Portfolio demonstrating elegant UX and thoughtful interaction design
• Strong product intuition and systems thinking
• Comfortable collaborating closely with engineers
• AI-native mindset and curiosity about how AI transforms product design

Bonus Points

• Passion for fitness, health, or wellness
• Experience designing AI-powered consumer products
• Motion design or prototyping expertise
• Experience at an early-stage startup
