Senior Technical Project Manager

Kunzig Consulting Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead remote software development and IT delivery projects from planning through successful completion. This person will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage client expectations, track project scope and timelines, and ensure that high-quality solutions are delivered on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead software and IT projects through planning, execution, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
• Define project scope, objectives, milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate developers, designers, technical specialists, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate project meetings, sprint planning, status reviews, and retrospectives.
• Monitor progress, dependencies, budgets, risks, and delivery quality.
• Identify blockers early and work with team members to develop practical solutions.
• Maintain clear project documentation, schedules, action items, and status reports.
• Communicate project updates, risks, and decisions clearly to clients and internal leadership.
• Support Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery processes based on project needs.
• Help improve internal project-management standards, tools, and workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project-management experience, including software development or IT delivery projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile delivery practices.
• Ability to translate business requirements into organized project plans and actionable tasks.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project-management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, Monday.com, ClickUp, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
• Comfortable working independently and leading distributed teams in a remote environment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a consulting, professional-services, or client-facing environment.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, system integrations, APIs, mobile applications, or web-development projects.
• Project-management certification such as PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, or an equivalent credential.
• Experience managing vendor relationships, project budgets, and resource planning.
