Senior Fullstack Engineer

About The Opportunity

We are looking for a passionate, hard-working, and talented Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our client's team. You will be working on enterprise-scale digital products within the utilities and energy industry, helping build modern, cloud-native applications that support critical business operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative and fast-paced engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React.js, Node.js, and modern web technologies.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and cloud-native solutions using AWS Lambda and Amazon ECS.
• Develop high-quality, maintainable code while collaborating with designers, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
• Design and optimize SQL, NoSQL, and graph database solutions to support complex business needs.
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and application performance optimization.
• Mentor fellow engineers while contributing to engineering best practices within an Agile environment.

Required Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience developing full stack web applications with React.js and Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, REST APIs, GraphQL, and modern software engineering best practices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, especially Lambda, ECS, and cloud-native application development.
• Deep knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases (preferably Couchbase), and graph database concepts.

Nice To Have Skills

However, if you have the following qualifications, they will be a plus for your application:

• Experience with TypeScript, Docker, and containerized applications.
• Knowledge of Jest, React Testing Library, and automated testing practices.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or prompt engineering.
• Experience mentoring engineers and working in Agile environments.
