Energy Procurement Consultant – Entry Level

Position Overview

1099 independant Contractor

NB Global Consulting is seeking entry-level Energy Procurement Consultants to join our rapidly growing team. In this role, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for B2B energy clients in the PJM and ERCOT sector, providing data analysis and client outreach.

This is a commission-based role perfect for someone with drive, analytical capability, and hunger to build a sales career in a sector with transparent, recurring revenue opportunities. You'll work remotely with full support from our team as you ramp into your territory.

Qualifications: 0–2 years of experience

(open to recent grads/college students); strong analytical and Excel modeling skills; excellent communication; and a persistent, self-driven sales mindset. Familiarity with Texas energy markets (ERCOT), B2B sales, or commodities is preferred.

Role Structure & Perks:

100% remote 1099 contractor to fulltime position with flexible location and a commission-based compensation structure. Time is split primarily between prospecting (40%), client presentations (30%), analysis/proposals (20%), and ongoing market training (10%).

Growth & Impact:

Work directly with company founders in a fast-growing, transparent industry. You’ll start in Texas commercial verticals (manufacturing, fitness, multi-location dining) with a 3–6 month ramp, with clear paths to expand into new state territories like Illinois.
