AVEVA Platform Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain AVEVA platform solutions based on project requirements.
• Design and implement applications using AVEVA System Platform, InTouch HMI, Historian, and other AVEVA products.
• Customize AVEVA applications and dashboards to meet business and operational needs.
• Integrate AVEVA platforms with third-party systems, databases, PLCs, SCADA, and enterprise applications.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
• Support platform upgrades, migrations, patches, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Monitor platform health and ensure high availability, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with project teams, clients, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and system configuration documents.
• Provide technical support and end-user training when required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of hands-on experience working with and developing solutions on the AVEVA Platform.
• Strong experience with AVEVA System Platform, InTouch HMI, Historian, and AVEVA industrial software solutions.
• Experience in application development, platform configuration, and system integration.
• Good knowledge of SQL databases and industrial communication protocols.
• Familiarity with SCADA, MES, Industrial Automation, and IoT environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Arabic speaking is mandatory. English communication skills are also required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with industrial automation and Smart Manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of PLC/SCADA integration and OPC communication.
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Windows Server environments.
• AVEVA certifications will be an added advantage.
