We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Operations Specialist to support our growing field sales team, with a strong focus on order management and compliance. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of our sales operations, ensuring that orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with internal policies.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is comfortable working across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Channel teams. You should be highly organized, a strong communicator, and confident navigating complex deal structures within a SaaS/subscription-based business model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and validate sales orders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company pricing structures and policies.
- Coordinate with sales, finance, and legal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to order submission.
- Generate reports on order status, order trends, and other relevant metrics to support sales leadership.
- Assist in data cleansing initiatives to ensure the integrity of sales data.
- Support the creation of renewal opportunities and quotes for the sales team, ensuring timely and accurate generation.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve order management processes.
- Document best practices and contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in the implementation of new tools or systems related to sales operations and order management.
- Act as a primary point of contact for sales inquiries related to order status, order modifications, and policy clarification.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues.
- Provide training and guidance to new sales team members on order submission procedures.
- Perform ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in sales operations or order management within a high growth technology or cybersecurity company.
- Proficiency with Salesforce
- Familiarity with SaaS/subscription-based sales models strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of accountability and follow-through.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Experience working in a publicly traded or IPO-prepared company is a plus.
