Senior Migration DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are a Microsoft Partner delivering practical, high-impact data and AI solutions to clients. In this hands-on, customer-facing role you will own the full solution lifecycle — from listening to business needs and rapidly prototyping ideas to building, deploying, monitoring, and continuously improving production-grade AI systems on Microsoft Azure.

We value full-cycle ownership and customer empathy far more than narrow tool expertise. You will work directly with clients to understand challenges, refine requirements, and co-create solutions that deliver real business value in a fast-paced, prototype-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead clients' cloud migration engagements, including cloud migration strategy, application cloud suitability/readiness assessment, migration planning, sourcing options, business case and execution coordination specifically in Azure
• Lead application design changes for cloud suitability and migrations
• Assessment of workload and inventory of on-prem environment with performance metrics and workload cost estimates
• Assessment and analysis of on-prem database servers and migration path to Azure Data services
• Cost comparison of total cost of ownership and saving from migration to Azure
• Documentation of detail configuration of the landing zones of the targeted cloud services
• Be a cloud migration SME(Subject Matter Expert) and technical leader on the project

Requirements:

• Deep working knowledge of DR and migration strategies on Azure. Including leveraging Azure Backup, Site Recovery for both DR and as a migration pathway
• Deep technical experience in infrastructure design, build and deployment, including private and public cloud, networking, connectivity, storage, virtualization and access control
• Experience with migration readiness and planning tools (ex. Azure Migrate, Data Migration Assistant, Azure Site Recovery Planner, etc.)
• Experience with Azure/VMWare/Hyper-V/Physical servers to Azure migration
• Experience with Azure subscriptions to a CSP partner migration
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft CSP program
• Strong background in CI/CD techniques
• Demonstrable experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such Azure DevOps
• Passion for eliminating repetitive manual processes using automation
