Design Engineer
Location: Minnesota, USA

Job Description: Perform complete engineering design and documentation for utility transmission & distribution, substation, renewable energy, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. Prepare and coordinate 30%, 60%, and 90% design packages, Issued-for-Construction (IFC) drawings, engineering calculations, technical reports, equipment layouts, one-line diagrams, grounding plans, protection and control documentation, and as-built drawings. Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, protection & control, SCADA, and construction teams to ensure multidisciplinary design integration. Review vendor drawings, resolve design comments, provide engineering support during construction and commissioning, and ensure all deliverables comply with applicable utility standards, IEEE, NEC, NESC, OSHA, client requirements, and local, state, and federal regulations while maintaining quality, constructability, and project schedules.
