Sales Captain

JOB TITLE: Sales Captain

REPORTS TO: Caleb Moore

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Responsible for continuing all Account Manager job duties, including but not limited to, develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients and carriers, and effectively evaluate, select, assign and service loads.
• Assist assigned Core Division Teams with developing and maintaining relationships with clients and carriers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assists and coaches new Account Managers in their first year with quoting new business, market conditions and updates.
• Provides guidance and training to Account Manager Trainees as required.
• Reviews SOPs with Team members to ensure business is being conducted per company standards.
• Tracks and drives results for team and/or company contests.
• Acts as a resource to Account Managers and their teams and involves Sales Directors in issues as needed.
• Assists the Sales Director in managing the sales floor and informs appropriate manager with any employee issues, including HR matters.
• Communicates and works with Sales Directors on reviewing teams annually or as needed.
• Other duties as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE_: _

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 1 year working with MegaCorp as a successful Account Manager.
