Location: Remote form EU, occasional business trips to Munich

Requirements

Mandatory
• 8–10+ years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
• Deep understanding of SAP System Landscape Architecture.
• Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Transformation Projects.
• Expertise in SAP HANA Database Administration.
• Experience with: SAP Installation; System Copy; Upgrades; Migration; Performance Tuning; Monitoring.
• Experience in SAP technical architecture design.
• Excellent technical documentation skills.
• Experience in client-facing roles and technical consulting.
• Strong communication skills.
• Fluent German.
• Good English.

Nice to have

SAP Certifications.
Experience in international enterprise-scale projects.
Experience with high‑load SAP landscapes.
Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager.
Experience with Cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS/GCP for SAP).
Experience in SAP Basis automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising clients on the analysis, optimization, and development of their SAP Basis Landscape.
• Designing and overseeing SAP Basis architecture.
• Preparing technical documentation and establishing documentation standards.
• Providing technical support for migration projects and transitions to SAP S/4HANA.
• Architectural consulting on the evolution of the SAP System Landscape.
• Developing technical roadmaps and strategic recommendations.
• Consulting on SAP HANA Database, including: Database Architecture; Performance Optimization; Monitoring; Migration.
• Supporting and optimizing SAP system performance.
• Conducting knowledge transfer sessions for the client's internal teams.
• Coordinating technical requirements with all project stakeholders.
• Collaborating with infrastructure teams and architects.
