About the job
About Us
We're a SaaS company built on an Angular front end and a Microsoft back end (C#/.NET, SQL Server, and Azure) — and we're in the middle of rebuilding how software gets made. We are moving from traditional sprint delivery toward an AI-driven development lifecycle (ADLC): AI agents write much of the code, automated review agents check architecture, security, and requirements coverage, and our engineers orchestrate, verify, and ship. Our target is a radical acceleration of delivery — from weekly batch releases today toward per-feature, near-daily releases.
We're not looking for someone who tolerates AI tools. We're looking for someone who is genuinely excited that the job of a developer is changing — and wants to be early to what it's becoming.
One thing we are uncompromising about: AI acceleration only works on top of deep, hands-on engineering skill. You must be a seasoned developer who can design, write, and debug production code entirely by hand — without any AI assistance. If the agents go down, the delivery doesn't.
The Role
You'll build and ship features across the full stack, working inside our AI-assisted delivery process rather than around it. Day to day, that means directing AI coding agents from a plan you've approved, critically reviewing their output, hardening the automated checks that keep quality high at speed, and doing the deep engineering work AI can't do alone — untangling coupled services, designing backward-compatible database migrations, and making our pipeline and environments fast enough to keep up.
What you'll do
• Deliver full-stack features (Angular front end, C#/.NET APIs, SQL Server) using AI coding agents as your primary implementation tool — planning, prompting, reviewing, and correcting their work
• Own quality of everything you ship: AI writes code fast; you're accountable for it being right
• Help decouple our shared services layer and introduce feature flags, so features can ship independently
• Design expand/contract (backward-compatible) EF Core migrations that keep the database from chaining releases together
• Contribute to CI/CD speed and reliability in Azure DevOps — fast pipelines are a first-class feature of our process
• Feed what you learn back into the process: agent rules, review prompts, and delivery patterns that make the whole team faster
What we're looking for
• Mandatory — critical for success in this role: proven ability to write production-quality code entirely by hand. You can architect, implement, and debug full-stack features across Angular, C#/.NET, and SQL Server without any AI assistance, and you can carry delivery forward unassisted if AI tooling is unavailable. This is a hard requirement and will be verified through a hands-on, no-AI coding assessment.
• 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience, with a track record of shipping and maintaining production systems
• Strong C#/.NET (ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core) and solid SQL Server skills, including schema design and migrations
• Production experience with Angular (or deep experience in a comparable framework with willingness to go deep on Angular)
• Experience with Azure (App Services, ACAs, Azure DevOps pipelines, or equivalent cloud/CI-CD experience)
• Demonstrated AI-native workflow: you already use tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor as a core part of how you build — and you can talk concretely about where they excel, where they fail, and how you verify their output
• A reviewer's mindset: you read code critically, reason about architecture and security, and catch what automated checks miss
• Strong written communication — in an AI-driven process, precise written specs and reviews are the work
Nice to have
• Experience with feature-flag systems (Azure App Configuration, LaunchDarkly) and trunk-based development
• Playwright or similar E2E automation experience
• Experience building with LLM APIs, agent frameworks, or prompt-driven tooling
• Experience decomposing or modernizing a monolith while it stays in production
• Docker / containerized local development environments
How we'll evaluate
Our interview process reflects how we work, and it has two hands-on parts — both are required:
Manual coding assessment (no AI, non-negotiable). You'll design, write, and debug real full-stack code by hand — no Copilot, no chat assistants, no autocomplete beyond a standard IDE. We're verifying that your fundamentals — architecture, data modeling, debugging, clean C# and TypeScript — stand on their own.
AI-assisted build session. You'll build with an AI coding agent while we watch how you plan, direct, verify, and correct its output.
