Founding Product Engineer (React Native)

About Aistetic
Aistetic is an Oxford University AI spinout building AI powered listing automation for fashion resale. Our product, ListingFlow, turns product photos into marketplace ready listings for platforms like eBay, Vinted, and Depop. We also offer ListingEngine, a B2B API for enterprise resale partners. We're alumni of Techstars and the eBay Future of Ecommerce Accelerator, and our Core AI engine has already processed a large volume of items for paying customers who love the product.

The Role
We're looking for a Founding Product Engineer to help us close our two biggest near term gaps: a fully self-serve product experience, and a native iOS and Android app.
This isn't a "build what you're told" role. You'll have real ownership over how our mobile and self-serve experience comes together, working closely with our founder to translate product vision into a shipped, working app.

What you'll do
Design and build our iOS and Android app from the ground up
Own the self-serve product experience end to end, from signup to first successful listing
Work directly with marketplace APIs and constraints (including publishing challenges specific to platforms like Vinted)
Make real architecture and product decisions as a founding technical voice on the team
Collaborate directly with the founder and shape the technical roadmap as we grow

What we're looking for

Strong React Native experience, ideally shipping to both iOS and Android
Full stack range, comfortable across mobile, backend, and API integration
Evidence of shipping real consumer products, solo or as part of a small team
Ownership mentality and genuine excitement about early stage, ambiguous problems
3+ years of experience, or equivalent founder/solo-shipping track record
Native mobile background (Swift, Kotlin, Flutter) also welcome if you're keen to work in React Native

Structure
This starts as a paid, flexible, output based engagement rather than fixed hours, with a milestone driven path to a full-time founding role as the company grows. Equity is part of the package from day one.
