The opportunity
AI Navi is a UK-based AI-native product studio. Over the last year we've built three things: a live product — an AI growth co-founder for early-stage B2B SaaS, already earning revenue from paying customers; a flagship product — an AI-powered product and GTM signal engine, pre-revenue with strong early qualitative feedback; and the loop-engineering method we invented to build both of them fast — a proprietary way of working, not a product we sell.
We are past the "does the tech work" question. We have not yet answered the harder one: who wants this enough to pay for it, and how do we find more of them, fast. That is the job.
Join at the firestarter stage
Daniel Priestley describes company-building in stages: a 2-person scout team, a 4-person firestarter team, an 8-person core team, a 30-person performance team.
AI Navi is a 2-person scout team today — the two founders. We're bringing on two founding co-founders, one engineering, one GTM, to become the 4-person firestarter team. This is the stage where the fire either catches or it doesn't.
That's the seat we're hiring for.
What success looks like
Days 1–10
Study the live product's paying customers and every flagship-product conversation to date. Form a sharp, falsifiable point of view on the flagship product's ICP and pricing hypothesis.
By Day 20
Validate or kill that ICP hypothesis through direct conversations with real prospects. Land the positioning and pricing model for the flagship product.
By Day 40
First paying customer live on the flagship product (or an expanded account on the live product). One repeatable outbound or inbound motion running without founder hand-holding.
By Day 70
A second growth channel — partnership, influencer, content or community — producing qualified pipeline on its own.
By Day 100
$5,000 MRR across the portfolio, priced right, with a growth motion that keeps compounding after day 100.
Every day
A real conversation with the market. A day without one is a day of guessing.
Ongoing
The traction story, data and relationships that close a minimum $2M round, at a minimum $10M valuation, signed and in the bank, before December 2026.
Mission
Find the market that wants the flagship product enough to pay for it, price it right, growth-hack your way to $5,000 MRR in 100 days, and build the traction story that gets a fundraise closed before December 2026.
What you will do
Own ICP definition and validation for the flagship product — the primary bet. Treat the live product's two paying customers as your first real data points, not the finish line.
Design and test pricing that reflects value delivered, not a number ported from a spreadsheet or a competitor's page.
Build and personally run the GTM motion before handing anything off — outbound, partnerships, influencer relationships, content, community, whatever the ICP actually responds to.
Turn your own network and reputation into a distribution asset for the company — your Pitch, Publish, Profile and Partnerships, in Priestley's terms, become part of AI Navi's growth engine, not just yours.
Feed market signal back into product decisions. What prospects say no to is as valuable as what they say yes to.
Build the fundraise narrative and data room in parallel with revenue, not after it — traction, cohort data and a growth story investors can underwrite.
Own the pricing, positioning and channel calls, and be accountable for the number, not just the activity.
What we need
A demonstrated track record of taking a product from unknown to real paying revenue, ideally in early-stage B2B SaaS.
Evidence of your own Pitch, Publish, Profile and Partnerships assets, in Priestley's Key Person of Influence sense — you bring some inbound gravity with you, not a cold start.
Comfort designing pricing from first principles, not just executing someone else's pricing page.
Hands-on experience running at least one of: a partnership motion, influencer or creator relationships, founder-led content, or community-led growth — with revenue you can point to.
The energy and charisma to be the face of both products externally — calls, webinars, LinkedIn, founder-led selling.
Fluency with modern GTM tooling — CRM, outbound sequencing, analytics. You don't need to build it, but you run it from day one.
At least six working hours overlapping a European business day, Monday to Friday (waivable for the right candidate).
A founding mindset: you are building the company, not filling a growth-marketer job description.
Strong advantages
- Prior founder, or early (#1–3) GTM hire, experience at a B2B SaaS company that reached meaningful ARR.
- Existing relationships with angel or seed investors relevant to a $2M+ raise.
- Familiarity with CPG/manufacturing buyers (the live product's ICP) or with early-stage SaaS founders (the flagship product's ICP).
- A public profile or following that can be pointed at AI Navi's products from week one.
- Experience building a data room or leading investor conversations for a prior raise.
This role will not suit you if…
- You want a validated ICP and an established budget before you're willing to start selling.
- You've only ever executed someone else's GTM plan and have never owned the pricing, positioning or channel decision yourself.
- You're more comfortable behind a dashboard than in a call with a prospect, or on camera.
- You think partnerships and influencer relationships are someone else's job to arrange.
- You want the co-founder title without accountability for the number.
- You're waiting for the product to be finished before you're willing to sell it.
What we offer
- Up to 20% equity in the Holdco for the right candidate. GTM is the highest-leverage seat in the business right now, and the offer reflects that.
- A small cash stipend, capped at USD 500/month, until MRR milestones are hit — reviewed as revenue grows.
- AI Navi covers reasonable marketing and GTM tooling costs directly. The cash cap is personal comp, not your growth budget.
- A genuine co-founder track: influence over product priority, pricing, hiring and company direction.
- Direct partnership with the founders, and an active seat in the fundraise itself, not just a front-row view.
- Remote-first, Europe timezone preferred — waived for the right person.
- The chance to take three built, unproven products and find out — fast — which one the market actually wants.
How to apply
- Your LinkedIn or CV, plus any evidence of your own audience, network or "profile" — the assets you'd bring to bear on day one.
- A short Loom (or written note) on how you'd validate the flagship product's ICP and land the first paying customer inside 30 days.
- A short note on one GTM motion you built from zero — pricing, channel or partnership — that produced real revenue, plus one thing that didn't work and what you took from it.
- Your location, timezone overlap, earliest start date, and one sentence on why this specific bet — the flagship product, the 100-day sprint, the fundraise — appeals to you.
Selection process
- Introductory conversation — 30 minutes on goals, working style and practical fit.
- Deep-dive conversation — 60 minutes on GTM philosophy, pricing and channel decisions you've owned, and what you learned from what didn't work.
- Paid working sprint — 3–5 focused days on a bounded, real GTM outcome for the flagship product (an ICP validation sprint or a pricing/positioning test), with clear success criteria.
- References and mutual decision — we move quickly once the evidence is clear.
No-BS policy. Only magnetic, low-ego closers get hired.
We hire kind, direct, relentless people who make the room better and still close the deal. Charisma without follow-through is a liability here, not an asset. Brilliant but toxic is still a no.
