Aethreallegence is building the inventory cognition infrastructure layer for physical retail - a system that maintains continuous truth about what is on a shelf, where it is, and when that changes. Not a checkout tool. Not a camera system. A category-defining platform. Pre-revenue, patent-pending, moving fast.

This is a founding equity role for a builder who wants to shape the entire user-facing surface; web dashboard, mobile app, and everything the operator, retailer, and government stakeholder sees.The Role
You'd work directly with our Backend Lead. She owns the API and application backbone. You'd own everything the customer touches:

• The frontend web dashboard that store operators, retail managers, and internal team use daily
• A cross-platform mobile app (React Native or Flutter) that puts the same intelligence in an operator's pocket
• The visual and interaction design that turns confidence-weighted inventory data into something people actually understand
• Enough DevOps comfort to ship your own work — CI/CD, containerized deploys, environment management

You will not be siloed as a "frontend person." You'll be a builder shaping how the entire product feels and behaves for every user surface we ship. When we go into federal and enterprise pilots, the interface you build is what those stakeholders see first.

What we're looking for
• 4+ years of production frontend work — React or Next.js, TypeScript, modern component architecture
• Real cross-platform mobile experience — React Native (preferred) or Flutter — that has shipped to a real app store
• Comfortable with API integration, state management, and building against a moving backend
• Practical DevOps: Docker, CI/CD, one of AWS/GCP, and enough operational instinct to keep your own surface running
• Design sensibility — not a designer, but someone who can turn a spec into an interface without needing every pixel dictated
• Genuine interest in building something that hasn't been built before, not chasing a paycheck on day one

Bonus, not required
• Prior startup experience at the pre-revenue stage
• Comfort working alongside ML and computer vision engineers (you don't have to build models, but understanding what's coming out of them helps)
• Experience with real-time UI (WebSockets, live event streams)
• Any federal contracting, defense, or enterprise B2B experience

The honest part
This is an equity-only role right now. We are pre-revenue and structuring engagements so that equity converts into real compensation as we close funding and generate revenue. Milestone payments trigger as grant and investor money comes in. Cash compensation targeted 12 to 18 months out, contingent on execution and fundraising.

We are looking for someone who wants to help build a company from the ground up and share in the upside, not someone looking for immediate paid work.
