Why this articleship is not the usual one
Most articleships mean vouching, GST filings, and bank audits for three years. Ours means working on the finance operations of US venture-backed startups: Delaware C-corps with Indian subsidiaries, Due diligence, cross-border structuring, and US GAAP financial statements, alongside core Indian compliance.
The firm works with LedgersCFO, a US-based accounting and CFO services company serving 40+ American startups with teams in India. As an article, you will work on both sides of the border from day one.
Exposure you will get

US accounting and tax: Bookkeeping on QuickBooks Online and Zoho Books, US GAAP financials, federal and state compliance (1120, 5472, 1099s, franchise tax), payroll via Gusto
Indian compliance: GST, TDS, income tax, ROC filings, FEMA/ODI and FLA returns for cross-border structures
Startup finance: Due diligence data rooms, cap tables and SAFE conversions, investor reporting, month-end close for funded companies
Tools and AI: We are building AI into accounting delivery. You will use modern tooling, not just Tally and Excel (though you will master those too)

Who should apply

Cleared CA Intermediate (both groups preferred; single group with strong fundamentals considered)
Strong accounting concepts and willingness to learn US taxation from scratch
Comfortable with English written communication, as you will interact with US client teams
Bengaluru-based or willing to relocate
High ownership: articles here get real client responsibility early, with review and mentorship, not just data entry

What you will get

Stipend above ICAI minimum, revised with performance: INR 12000-15000 per month
