Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer (with medical device experience) to work in Marlborough, MA. We are searching for a Sr. Engineer to support component and system-level mechanical design – SolidWorks proficiency is required.
Salary:$100,000 up to $125,000 with bonus
Sr. Mechanical Engineer responsibilities:
- Senior individual contributor supporting component and system-level mechanical design
- Develop BOMs, work instructions, assembly documentation and packaging drawings
- Assist in developing IP portfolio for these instruments and provide original technical solutions to improve performance, functionality, reliability costs requirement
- Develop product specification in coordination with marketing, customers and other company departments
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors Degree
- 10+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience
- Must have medical device industry experience
- SolidWorks profiency required
- Working knowledge of packaging, opto-mechanical, or automation systems is a plus
