Golang Developer

This is a hybrid position. Will need to work 3 days a week in offices located in Columbus, OH.

As a Golang Developer, you’ll be joining our team of talented experts. The right candidate will possess the following experience:

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using Go, Templ, and Datastar.
• Build responsive, accessible user interfaces using server-rendered HTML with reactive components.
• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services that integrate with internal and external systems.
• Design application architecture emphasizing simplicity, maintainability, and performance.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code.
• Build reusable UI components and shared application libraries.
• Integrate authentication, authorization, and role-based security.
• Collaborate with UX designers.
• Participate in code reviews and technical planning.
• Troubleshoot production issues.
• Document architecture, APIs, and standards.
• AI-Driven Development
• Use AI tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf, or similar.
• Use AI to accelerate development, testing, documentation, debugging, refactoring, code reviews, and rapid prototyping.
• Validate AI-generated code using sound engineering judgment before production deployment.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with Go (Golang).
• Experience with Templ.
• Experience with Datastar or similar reactive frameworks.
• Strong HTML5/CSS3 knowledge.
• Experience building REST APIs.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
• Experience writing automated tests.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Backend Go (Golang), REST APIs, JSON, SQL, Authentication & Authorization
• Frontend Templ, Datastar, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Responsive Design
• Development Tools Git, GitHub, CI/CD, Docker, AI-assisted development tools
