We are currently looking for a Project Engineer to work at our Advanced Engineering Division in Auburn Hills, MI.

Candidates must have strong technical understanding of automotive design and development process with the ability to:

• Lead product design & development of new products and improve upon existing products
• Coordinate on-site and off-site design reviews, CAD and FEA activities to meet customer performance requirements
• Perform DFM&A reviews with manufacturing personnel to ensure operational input
• Fulfill product design APQP requirements and participate in plant-held APQP reviews
• Participate in Customer meetings and respond to Customer inquiries
• Provide technical expertise in support of field failure analysis to develop and implement corrective actions
• Experience using generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or equivalent) to improve engineering productivity

Requirements for this position include solid experience in Fuel Fill Pipe design, a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2 years related experience in automotive manufacturing or equivalent experience.
