Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS to build scalable microservices and cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing REST APIs, working with cloud infrastructure, and writing clean, maintainable code.

Candidates who actively use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar AI coding assistants will be highly preferred.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Build secure and high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices.
Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS.
Integrate databases, third-party APIs, and messaging services.
Write clean, reusable, and well-tested code following best engineering practices.
Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams.
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
Leverage AI-powered coding tools to improve development productivity and code quality.

Required Skills:
5–10 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11/17+).
Excellent hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
Good understanding of Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and Hibernate.
Experience designing and developing REST APIs.

Strong experience with AWS services such as:
EC2
S3
RDS
Lambda
IAM
CloudWatch
ECS/EKS (preferred)
Experience working with SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Knowledge of Git and modern CI/CD practices.
Strong understanding of Microservices architecture.
Experience with Docker is preferred.
Good debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using AI development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, or similar AI-assisted coding platforms.
Experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
Exposure to Terraform or Infrastructure as Code is an advantage.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
