UI/ UX Developer (Volunteer/ Intern)

We are looking for a passionate UI/UX Designer (Volunteer – Unpaid) to help create intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging digital experiences for our web and mobile platforms. This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity ideal for students, recent graduates, career changers, or professionals looking to build their portfolio while contributing to meaningful social impact. You will work closely with developers, product teams, and project leads to transform ideas into user-centered designs.

What You'll Do
• Conduct user research and translate insights into design decisions.
• Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Design clean, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
• Develop and maintain design systems and reusable UI components.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Gather feedback from stakeholders and iterate on designs.
• Improve existing products through usability testing and continuous refinement.
• Ensure consistency across all digital products and platforms.

Deliverables
• User personas and journey maps (when required).
• Wireframes and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Clickable prototypes using Figma or similar tools.
• Design system and component library updates.
• Developer-ready design specifications and assets.
• Regular design iterations based on user and team feedback.

What We're Looking For
• Experience with Figma or similar UI/UX design tools.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Knowledge of responsive and accessible design best practices.
• Ability to communicate design decisions clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Portfolio showcasing UI/UX projects (personal, academic, or professional).

Time Commitment
• 5–10 hours per week.
