Business Analyst

Cesta Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our remote team. In this role, you will work closely with clients, stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to analyze business processes, gather and document requirements, and deliver innovative technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and business performance.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong analytical skills and the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation.

Primary Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through meetings, workshops, and stakeholder interviews.
• Evaluate existing business processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Create business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process flows, and user stories.
• Collaborate with software developers, QA teams, and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and stakeholder meetings.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, risks, and business opportunities.
• Assist in defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by validating that delivered solutions meet business requirements.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and clients.
• Ensure project documentation remains accurate and up to date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or related role.
• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and best practices.
• Experience working with Agile and Scrum development environments.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within IT consulting, software development, healthcare technology, financial services, or enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of business process modeling (BPMN) and workflow analysis.
• Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or CSPO are a plus.

Compensation
Salary Range: $85,000 – $120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
