Grace AI Control, Inc is building the accountability infrastructure for enterprise AI in regulated financial environments — the trust, evidence, and audit layer that lets banks and regulators rely on AI. We're early and pre-revenue, looking for the founding technical leader to build it with us.
This is a true ground-floor role. You'll own the architecture and write the production code that becomes the company's core. It's equity-first — the opportunity itself is the draw: your first executive seat, a founding stake, and a mission that matters.
What you'll own
- The core trust and evidence architecture, from the ground up
- Technical decisions Tier-1 financial institutions will stake their regulatory posture on
- The path to our first signed enterprise contract
Who you are
- A current Principal Engineer, Staff Engineer, Senior Architect, or Technical Lead ready to step into your first executive role while still writing production code
- Deep in software/platform architecture and distributed systems
- Strong in security engineering — cryptography, PKI, key management, immutable logging, evidence integrity
- Fluent in cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, containers, CI/CD, IaC) and enterprise API design
- Comfortable with modern AI systems (LLM integration, agentic systems), and ideally with why AI needs oversight and accountability
- Upbeat, mission-driven, and someone we'd trust to build alongside
Bonus
- Background in RegTech, FinTech, identity, security, or other regulated software
- Experience integrating with Salesforce, nCino, or core banking systems
- AI evaluation, red-teaming, or control experience
Location: Eastern North Carolina (Wilmington area) preferred; open to remote for an exceptional fit.

Compensation: Significant founding equity, with a modest early salary. Details discussed directly.
