Fractional Project Manager (Remote) — Independent Operator, Founder-Led SMEs

The Role

We're building our network of Fractional Project Managers to take ownership of critical projects and deliver them on time and on budget. You take a project end to end, bringing structure and momentum where internal bandwidth is missing and stay until it's done.
Engagements are project-based, scoped in advance, and run for the duration of the project.

What you'll work on

Typical projects:

• AI adoption
• Process transformation
• Market entry (APAC)
• Post-merger integration
• Lightweight PMO or project governance

Across these, you'll:

• Own delivery end to end, from planning through completion
• Set up project structure: scope, milestones, roles, and timelines
• Drive execution and keep stakeholders aligned and accountable
• Manage dependencies, risks, and trade-offs in real time
• Report clearly on progress, blockers, and decisions to leadership

This is hands-on delivery leadership. You're accountable for driving projects to completion, not just tracking them. Note: Rem.Up does not deliver IT implementation projects.

Skills and experience required

• 5+ years managing complex projects (consulting, industry, or both)
• Proven delivery in startups, scale-ups, or SMEs
• Strong command of project structuring, stakeholder management, and execution
• Experience delivering remotely and autonomously
• Ability to bring order to ambiguous, fast-moving situations

We are not looking for coordinators, task-based executors, or junior profiles.

• No guaranteed volume; operators are engaged per engagement based on fit, availability, and relevance
