Rem.Up is a Singapore-based fractional operations firm. We put senior independent operators inside founder-led startups and SMEs to run operations and deliver critical projects, for the fraction of time the business needs, without a full-time hire or a large consulting firm.

THE ROLE

We're building our network of Fractional COOs to embed part-time into client businesses where operations, execution, or the founder's own time has become the constraint on growth. You run operations day to day, build the systems and cadence that let the business scale beyond the founder, and lead delivery, not from the sidelines, but from inside the business.
Engagements are typically ongoing and month-to-month, often 1–2 days per week, reviewed regularly against need.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO WORK ON

Depending on the client:

• Running operations and owning the operating cadence and driving delivery
• Building the systems and processes that let the business scale beyond the founder
• Leading and holding the team accountable to delivery
• Driving execution against clear priorities set with leadership
• Introducing AI into operations where it adds real leverage

This is hands-on operational leadership. You own how the work is run, not just what should be done.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 10+ years in operations, with time as a COO, Head of Operations, or equivalent senior operator
• Proven track record running or scaling operations in startups, scale-ups, or SMEs
• Comfortable embedding remotely with international clients and operating with autonomy
• Strong judgment on what to prioritise and what to leave
• Ability to bring structure to ambiguous, fast-moving situations

We are not looking for advisors who hand back recommendations, or junior profiles.

• You remain an independent contractor, free to work with other clients
• Professional, transparent communication, asynchronous where possible
• No guaranteed volume; operators are engaged per engagement based on fit, availability, and relevance
