We're early-stage with a strong pipeline representing significant ARR.

The Role

As the founding engineer, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the co-founders, owning significant responsibilities on software engineering and technology infrastructure-related workstreams.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Architecture: Take part in designing and implementing the full-stack infrastructure required to host and execute the software deployment. Own and maintain system reliability.
• Stabilize Production: Resolve critical bugs in our production environment. Provide rapid technical support to our customers.
• Full-Stack Development: Build and maintain our React-based web application. Design and implement backend APIs and business logic (TypeScript/Node.js). Own the database schema and data integrity (PostgreSQL). Opportunities to build and develop core product capabilities alongside the founding team.
• Infrastructure & Development: Manage our AWS infrastructure and deployment pipeline. Implement security best practices for enterprise customer data. Set up CI/CD processes that enable rapid, confident shipping.

• Have 1-7 years shipping production software applications
• Are comfortable owning both frontend and backend
• Have worked at a startup before (or deeply want to)
• Are comfortable executing independently and owning outcomes

Tech stack

React, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS. We're flexible to talk if you are strong in others. Experience in AI assisted coding tools (Claude Code, Github Co-pilot, Cursor etc) is a must. Candidates with deep AWS experience preferred. Certified Associate Architect/Developer will be added advantage.

The Reality Check

This is hard. You'll work on weekends sometimes. Things will break. Customers will have urgent requests. We'll pivot based on what we learn.
