Position Overview
JUS Official Services is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandise Shop Manager to oversee the setup, optimization, and day-to-day operations of merchandise storefronts across multiple brands, artists, and campaigns.
This role is responsible for managing online merch stores, ensuring product listings are accurate and optimized, coordinating product launches, and supporting sales performance through effective merchandising strategies.
This is an independent contractor role focused on e-commerce operations, product management, and revenue optimization, with commission and performance-based earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain online merchandise storefronts (Shopify, print-on-demand platforms, or equivalent systems).
- Upload, organize, and optimize product listings including descriptions, pricing, and visuals.
- Coordinate merchandise drops, collections, and seasonal campaigns.
- Ensure product availability, accuracy, and consistency across storefronts.
- Monitor store performance and identify opportunities for increased sales.
- Collaborate with designers, marketing, and creative teams to launch merch campaigns.
- Track inventory status (where applicable) and ensure product fulfillment accuracy.
- Optimize product presentation for conversion and customer engagement.
- Assist in setting up new storefronts for clients, artists, or campaigns.
- Maintain organized records of products, collections, and sales performance.
- Support customer-facing updates such as announcements, promotions, and drops.

Qualifications
Required
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Etsy, WooCommerce, Printful, Printify, or similar).
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented mindset.
- Basic understanding of product listings, merchandising, and online sales.
- Ability to manage multiple stores or product catalogs.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
Preferred
- Experience in e-commerce management, merchandising, retail operations, or digital storefront management.
- Familiarity with print-on-demand systems and fulfillment workflows.
- Knowledge of digital marketing or product optimization strategies.
- Experience working with creators, brands, or entertainment merchandise.
- Basic analytics understanding (conversion rates, traffic, product performance).
Compensation
This is a commission and/or performance-based independent contractor (1099) role.
Merchandise Shop Managers earn compensation based on:
- Store performance and sales growth
- Successful merch drops and campaign launches
- Management fees per storefront or project
- Commission tied to revenue performance or product sales
- Performance bonuses for optimized conversions or high-performing collections
There is no hourly wage or salary unless explicitly agreed upon in writing. No employee benefits, paid time off, or guaranteed workload is provided.
Independent Contractor Status
This role is offered exclusively as an Independent Contractor (1099) position.
Contractors are responsible for their own tools, software, taxes, and business expenses. This role does not establish an employer-employee relationship.
Background Check Requirement
All applicants must successfully complete a criminal background check prior to onboarding or access to company-managed storefronts and financial systems.
Failure to successfully complete the required screening may result in disqualification.
